| Add Water | Add Beans | Press Start | Done! |
| The soy milk making process, including grinding, boiling and filtering, is automatically controlled by a microprocessor. As a result, it is very easy to use. Basically all you need to do is to add soaked soybeans and plug in the power cord and press the START button.
- How it works - The SoyaPower Soymilk Maker works like a combination of a home blender and an automatic coffee maker. Properly soaked soybean is placed into the filter cup. Soaked soybean makes much better soy milk than dry soybean. The soaked soybean is ground into a fine paste by the blender blades inside the filter. The soy milk is filtered through the filter into the all stainless container. The residue, which known as okara is left in the filter. Both the soymilk and the okara are fully cooked. The whole process is controlled by two sensors and a micro-processor so that the machine is fully automated. All you do is to add proper amount of water and soaked soybean and press one button. The soymilk can be used directly as a hot or cold drink or in other recipes. The okara, rich in natural fiber, can be cooked into many recipes. Once the bean and the water is added, and you've pressed the start button, the Soymilk Maker will first heat the water to 170 degree F. - the best temperature to grind soybean for reduced bean taste and high milk yield. It will then grind the soybean four times. After the soybean is ground, the machine will continue to heat the soymilk and okara to the boiling temperature. It will boil several times to make sure the soymilk is fully cooked. The machine has a smart sensor to make sure the soymilk will not over flow out of the container during the boiling process. Every time when the soymilk is about to boil-over, it will stop the heating. It waits a moment and starts the heating again when the foam comes down. It repeats this cycle until the soy milk is fully cooked. If you have ever made soymilk manually, you know how much time it takes to filter and heat the soymilk. You have to use low heat because high heat will burn the soymilk. You would watch the pot while soymilk is being heated on stove top but it seems that it would never reach the boiling temperature. As soon as you turn your eyes away and go quickly to do something else, the soy milk would boil all over the stove top. Filtering the soymilk with cheese cloth is no fun either. It takes so many pans and pots and hand squeezing! Well, this machine completely automates the whole process. It takes only 15 minutes to make six-glasses of great tasting soymilk. |

- Soy And Human Health -
Why take all kinds of expensive supplements while the perfect food is a better alternative?
Soybeans contains compounds called isoflavones (natural estrogens), which have many health benefits to human health.
Patricia Greenberg, author of "The Whole Soy Cookbook", and a leading soy nutrition expert who has appeared on the NBC Today Show and The Food Channel, concludes:
Soy milk will help reduce the risk of heart disease because they are cholesterol free and high in fiber. Soybeans naturally contain Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E.
Soy milk reduces the risk of breast cancer and helps ease the symptoms of menopause.
Soy milk contains isoflavones known as genistein and daidzein, a naturally occuring plant form of estrogen that will replicate the function of estrogen in post-menopausal women.
Soy milk reduces the risk of prostate cancer by inhibiting cell growth. The mechanism is not yet clear, but research has shown that men who eat a diet high in soy have a much lower incidence of the disease.
Soy milk reduces the risk of many digestive disorders because of its high fiber content. This aids in healthy digestion, and
has shown to reduce the risk of colon and rectal cancer.
Soy milk is dairy-free (there are a few cheeses that contain milk proteins, so be careful when purchasing them) and can
be used as a substitute for lactose intolerance and milk allergies.
Soy milk is great for the dietary treatment of diabetes because soybeans have a low glycemic index and are cholesterol free (heart disease is a diabetic related condition).
Soy milk can be used as a protein source in vegetarian diets because they contain the necessary amount of essential amino acids for tissue repair and growth.
Soy is essential for the future of our planet. Soy can be used to feed large numbers of people and animals. Soy is inexpensive to produce, and replenishes the soil rather than depletes it. |
