The EasyGreen improves on Seed and Grain Technologies previous much acclaimed model, the Mist-A-Ponic. Refinements include easier setup, a smaller exterior, optional clear top (great for Greening sprouts), smoother stacking (making multi-levels a breeze), and a more streamlined appearance.

The EasyGreen's exterior is 19.5" x 23.5" x 7", yet it will hold 5 - 12" x 3" cartridges or a 15" x 13" large tray. There are no metal parts, screws, or bolts that can cause corrosion or affect the quality of your crop. The case has smooth, round corners and the vertical sliding door is removable to ease cleaning.

The Mist Generator, the heart of the machine, uses 120v/60hz and is rated at only .55Amp. There is an optional 220v/50hz Mist Generator for our foreign customers. The adjustable timer activates the Mist Generator for a total run-time of only 2-4 hours per day depending on your climatic conditions.

The EasyGreen Machine makes growing high-quality sprouts easy.

Generally, a single layer of seeds are spread out on the cartridge. Small seeds, like Alfalfa, only need a single tablespoon. With Greens and Beans, fill the bottom of the cartridge.

Does the EasyGreen come assembled?
Yes, the EasyGreen comes ready to use. Fill the water compartment with clean water, and switch the system on.

Do I need soil?
No! Seeds do not need soil to germinate. The Mist Generator provides moisture and air to the seeds at set intervals. EasyGreen uses specially-designed cartridges that drain water. Since you do not need to use soil, the EasyGreen Process produces sprouts that are very clean.

How simple is it?
Each day harvest the content of one cartridge or tray, refill it with fresh seeds, and place it in the machine. Fill with water and that's it! Water use depends on your local climate.

How much maintenance is required?
About a twice a month, take out any trays or cartridges with sprouts, fill with water, add 4 tablespoons of bleach, and set the machine to run for 3.5 hours. This will clean and disinfect the machine and internal parts. Fill it with water again and run another 3.5 hours. The machine will be clean and dry. You are ready to start sprouting again.

What healing properties are attributed to sprouts?
